Hey Pete, have you heard the new Jens Lekman album? Gorgeous stuff, I say, but then I've always been a sucker for orchestral pop. In any event, if you haven't heard it, it's well worth checking out, and if you have, well, keep up the blogging, chappie.

Also, on a side note, when I went to go get the iguana and you lent me some cd's, I somehow was not floored by either the Go! Team or Antony & the Johnsons. I liked both, but had to later listen to them again to really get my pants knocked off. What's wrong with me?

i love the jens lekman album, i really do, but in the end i do feel like i wish he was stephen merritt, and making good magnetic fields albums again. something is maybe too jokey about jens. i was bored by the go! team initially, and decided that they would be much better live, and then i loved the album, and now i think it's annoying. antony takes a few listens to sink in, i think i fell in pretty quick, but for a moment you're liable to think, what is this oozy cabaret crap, and then when you pay attention to his voice, it's like the whole thing opens up. i wish i owned some pants that i could knock-off, like i could just knock on them and they would shoot off my body.
